Sending a restore file via email or some other service - how to?

Apologies as I'm sure this has been covered but whenever I try to do a search it's stalling out.  This is for many probably a very basis "101" question but I'd like to see what the most simple and basic way of doing this is.

Setup:  VERY small company.  I am the only person who enters data via Pro 2018 desktop software.  A couple of times a week, I do a "restore" to a second computer that someone uses in our office to just reference orders and other company files so they don't have to use my computer to look things up (they do not enter data, of course - it's for reference).  She is relocating out of state but will continue to work for us remotely.  I want to be able to send her restore files every few days to update her QB, but the file sizes are too large to email.  We are "old school" here, and I certainly don't want to have to mail her USB thumb drives each week.

I'm so-so tech savy and she's NOT at all.  Is there an easy way for me to send her the backup file from my computer so she can just save it to her desktop and restore it onto her computer?  What service would I use since it's apparently too large for email?  Sorry if this is a "duh" question - just not sure how to go about this.  Thanks.

Sending a restore file via email or some other service - how to?

Hello Greg,

Welcome to the Community.

When I can't attach large files in my emails, I usually use a third-party data sharing application. It helps me send out some documents by sharing the link where they can download the file.

Since we can't name (promote) which app is best, you can search on the web for details. Once you've selected an app, you can now start sharing your company file to someone without mailing a USB drive.

You can follow the steps in this article how to create portable copy of your company file: Create or Restore a QuickBooks Portable Company File.
