Sending forms by email issues in Desktop using Gmail

First, let me say currently I am using Gmail credentials to send forms, and it IS working. I have enabled "allow less secure apps" and such. I am using QB 2019 Enterprise.

However, Google is going to do away with the option to allow less secure apps in the future and I want to be on the front end of the change. For now they have suspended the removal of that option, but it's coming I'm sure.

Has anything changed in the email setup in QB 2020 or 2021 to mitigate this situation? What alternative solutions have people come up with?

I have tried the "Quickbooks Email" setup but it's really bad. You have to manually fill in the recipient's email address and the return address is some arcane, generic, noreply QB address.
