Shortcuts from dropdown menus?

The dropdown menus have a letter underlined, which normally means there's a shortcut. How do I use those? For example, in the checks window, I click on Edit and the V is underlined in Void check. How do I activate that shortcut

Shortcuts from dropdown menus?

I can definitely help you with this, @AmericanRV.

QuickBooks Desktop has a built in keyboard shortcuts functions that will help you in performing your tasks. Instead of using the menus, you can create invoices and move between windows with just a few keystrokes.

We can use keyboard shortcuts in the program to perform commands. Keyboard shortcuts in QuickBooks Desktop appear in the Menu bar to the right of the specific command to which they correspond. For example, clicking the “Lists” command in the Menu Bar shows the keyboard shortcut for the “Chart of Accounts” command as being “Ctrl+A” on the keyboard.

We'll see underlined letters on some forms and buttons of the program. These are known as shortcut labels. We can simply hold the Alt key then press the underlined letter to use the shortcut.

I encourage you to visit this article to know all the keyboard shortcuts for doing things more efficiently in QuickBooks Desktop.
