It seems there is something wrong with your Windows component. Our first recommendation is to run your Windows Update. We frequently met similar error at our clients when running QuickBooks on Windows 7.
Make sure to close all other open programs, then run the tool.
This may take up to 20 mins to complete the process.
Restart your computer to ensure updates are completely installed.
If same issue persists, you can uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ to manually repair Microsoft components. Make sure to run the tool prior to performing the manual step. Otherwise, the time take to resolve the issue will decrease.
