Technical Support Phone Calls

Today makes the 3rd time I've contacted technical support for a call back and when I received the call, no one speaks.  The call doesn't disconnect, they just don't speak.  And they don't call me back.  I even had one call back where the technician actually just hung up when I told him what my issue was.  


Is anyone else experiencing this situation?

Thank you for coming into the QuickBooks Community. When our customers are experiencing issues, rest assured we take it very seriously. Below I'm going to attach the steps on how to get personalized customer support care. 

  • Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account
  • Select Help(?) at the top right
  • Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  • Now you can choose either Get a Callback (Which it sounds like you've tried a few times) or Instant Messenger chat

Perhaps try chatting with an agent? That should be instant, and while it wont be direct phone-to-phone contact, it is still personalized and private support. 


While you're trying those steps, if you would like to describe your issues here, maybe I can help? This isn't a private support page, rather a public forum, but there's lots of helpful people on here who would love to do whatever they can to get you and your business going in the right direction.

I can only imagine how tough it is to wait on the line without anyone helping you out, @qscustomerserve,

May I know what's the issue all about, and how can I help you overcome it? Here in this support channel, we are able to assist QuickBooks related questions as long as it doesn't require account verification.

For other questions like billing, ongoing issues, and escalated cases, you will need to get in touch with our Phone Support. I know you already contacted them multiple times, but we are unable to view accounts or any confidential data in this public forum.


To ensure we address your concern, our representatives are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays. You can also request for a callback so you won't have to wait on the line.


Here's how to contact Support:


  1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  2. From there, select the Contact Us button and enter your concern in the description box.

  3. Once done, select Call us or Get a callback option.

How do I get technical support for QB 2019 for Mac for desktop?  I have Version V18.0.7.R8.1.


My business has been shut down for 3 days as I cannot get any help.  


I click on Help and it does not provide any contact information or a way to get a callback.

To contact our Technical Support Team within the support hours, you can follow these steps: 

  1. Go to this link:
  2. Select QuickBooks Mac Desktop.
  3. Go to the first section and select any topic that is related to your concern.
  4. Go to the second section and click get the contact information.

Meanwhile, you can also provide additional details of your concern here in the Community. We might be able to give you a fix without giving them a call.

Getting support is non-existant with Quickbooks!!  Even if you are a Proadvisor, there is no support!!  Voice control with robots instead of Live Technical support is not working!!  i HAVE HAD ENOUGH!   QB's should just shut down!!
