I appreciate you utilizing the + New button to create a Purchase Order (PO), barnardsports. Data issues in your system are one of the possible reasons on why it doesn't appear and I can provide browser troubleshooting steps to help fix the problem.

Stored web caches on your regular browser can sometimes become corrupted, damaged, or outdated, leading to unusual displays or behavior. To sort this, let's start by opening your QBO account in a private window as it ignores data from cashed files. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the button appears while using an incognito, let's return to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

If the issue persists, it's best to connect with our Customer Live Support. They have the resources to check the causes of the problem and provide you further assistance.

Alternatively, we can create a PO by going to the vendor section. I'll walk you through the steps on how to do it:

  1. Select the Expenses menu on the left pane.
  2. Click on the Vendor tab and choose the specific vendor you want to create the PO.
  3. Click the arrow dropdown under the ACTION column and choose Create purchase order.

Moreover, you can add purchase orders to expenses, bills, or checks once they have been accepted by the vendor.

Lastly, did you know that we provide a complimentary session with our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted service? Our experts excel at making financial management effortless and providing tailored advice, especially when handling your expenses.
