Transfer files from Online to Desktop overrode files already in Desktop
I have talked with 13 support people in the last 36 hours and no one can help me! They transferred some files from Online to Desktop. Those files overrode my current transactions and can no longer see them in Desktop. I need to retrieve the old files and combine them with the new files. I get tossed from Online techs to Desktops and am getting nowhere!

Overwriting is the way it works, it is use QBDT or use QBO in intuits opinion.
Before trying the export you should have made a back up, did you? If so restore from back up. If not then you are stuck, the overwritten desktop file can not be brought back to what it was before the operation. Missing transactions in desktop will have to be re-entered if possible
How did they convert data from QBO to QBD? and Why do they need to convert multiple times? As long as you didn't post any new transactions on QBO, you will get the same company files to open on your QBD.
