Transfering customer list from Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2017 to Quickbooks Point of Sale

When you transfer the customer list from QB Desktop to QB POS will it bring over all the customers or just the ones that are active?

Hi there, MTFarrier.

I can share additional information about the importing process in QuickBooks.

When you're importing a customer list, you're moving the entire customer records from QuickBooks Desktop to Point of Sale. This means that all the active and inactive customers will be transferred.

Once you're all set up and ready, follow the steps provided by my colleague above to be guided in doing importing the file. In addition, I recommend reading the articles below to learn more about the exporting and importing capabilities of QuickBooks Desktop and Point of Sale:

Do let me know if you need more help in importing your other data. I'll be more than happy to assist you again.
