Transferring QB for Windows 2003 to QB Desktop for Mac 2019

Hi Debbie BH,

The new version QuickBooks Mac didn't recognize your file because it's too old to be converted to it. We'll need help from Support to convert your file to a newer version of QuickBooks for Windows before you can covert it to the Mac version.

To reach them:

1. Please open this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
2. When you're prompted to choose a product, select QuickBooks Desktop.
3. Click on Continue as a guest.
4. Choose QuickBooks Setup & Navigation > Upgrade & Conversion.
5. Scroll down and click Start a message.

After the conversion, you can open the file in your QuickBooks for Mac.

I am agreed to JessT. You file is too old to convert directly to recent version.  Call and ask Intuit Data Service to convert your file for free. Otherwise, consider purchasing a 3rd party conversion service.

I followed your instructions... but once I got to the chat with the intuit rep, she stated that since I have the Mac version, I need to call them to get the file converted.  The number is [removed].  They asked me a lot of questions, then emailed me a link so that I could sign-in and upload them my Windows QB 2003 file.   Someone is supposed to be contacting me in the next few days once the conversion is completed.  Thanks everyone for all the help.  Very much appreciated!
