Unable to attach any document to quickbooks

I want to attach a scanned document to quickbooks and to a specific transaction.  when I go to the document center and browse to the document, it fails to attach.  when I drag and drop, I get the little square box with a plus sign, but when I drop over that drop box, the document fails to attach.  I tried scanning but the scan manager is crap for controlling the size and shape of pdf files, so I opted not to try to use it.

Unable to attach any document to quickbooks

Hi Mike1504,

We can try to repair your attached document links by following these steps:

  1. Locate your company file and find the Attach folder.
  2. Rename the Attach folder and make a new one.
  3. Copy the contents from the old folder. Then, click Company located at the top.
  4. Select Documents, and choose Repair Attached Document Links.
  5. Click the Open Company File Folder button. Note: This will display the folder in which the company files and the Attach folder is located.
  6. Open the Attach folder.
