I'm no longer able to email invoices. The program shuts down every time that I try. Has anyone else had this issue or have suggestions? Also, if i try to go into the preferences "send forms" section - it automatically shuts down the program.

I had already updated to the latest version yesterday - but I double checked and its the latest version.
I did the verify , rebuild and repair as suggested. The program still crashes whenever I try to access the send forms in settings, or try to email invoices.

Yes! You may try creating a sample company file as what @AlcaeusF mentioned. To do that, here's how:
1. Go to File menu at the top, then pick Close Company.
2. In the No Company Open window, select the drop-down arrow in the Open a sample file icon.
3. Choose a sample file and click on it.
Once done, create a sample invoice and send it yourself to double check. If you're getting the same result, let's try repairing your QuickBooks since you already performed the Verify and Rebuild. This will help fix any program-related issues or errors. Here's how:
1. Restart your computer, then back up your company file.
2. On the your Desktop, click the Start, then Control Panel.
3. Select Programs and Features, and choose QuickBooks in the list of programs, then pick Uninstall/Change.
4. Click continue and Next, then Repair and Next again.
5. Once done, select Finish and restart your computer if prompted.
