Unable to export transaction report to excel

When I try to export a transaction report to excel from Quickbooks Online, I get an error that says "Something went wrong. We are working on it."  Is there anything I can do to fix this?   Seems to be isolated to the transaction report only.

Unable to export transaction report to excel

I am having this same issue.  Extremely frustrating.  Do we know if there is a way to report the issue to Intuit?

Unable to export transaction report to excel

Hello there, tricia2 and carlytsiegel.

Right now, QuickBooks Online has an ongoing issue about exporting reports to Excel. Our product experts are doing their best to fix this issue as soon as possible. However, we have another option for you to be able to export reports to Excel.

Here’s how:

  1. On the left navigation panel, click Accounting.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. Look for the transaction that you want to export.
  4. Under the ACTION column, click the drop-down.
  5. Click Run Report.
  6. On the upper right corner, click Save customization.
  7. Fill out the Customer report name.
  8. Click Save.

Once done, you can view your saved report in the Custom Reports section.

Here are the steps:

  1. On the left navigation panel, click Reports.
  2. Click the Custom Reports section.
  3. Look for the transaction that you want to export.
  4. Under the ACTION column, click the drop-down.
  5. Select Export as Excel.

Also, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Customer Care so they can add your account as one of the affected users of the ongoing issue. This way, we can send you an email once the issue is already resolved.
