Unable to Login to Quickbooks Online - "Oops, Something went wrong".

Some customers have reported they cannot login to QuickBooks Online. When
attempting to login they are getting the error message, "Oops, Something went wrong".
We have identified that the issue that is blocking customers is a third party application
called IBM Security Rapport.  After the extension is installed in the browser it blocks
certain calls that QuickBooks makes to log a customer into Quickbooks Online.

While Intuit does not own this extension we are currently working on a fix to allow for
customers to be able to login while using that extension. In the meanwhile, in order to
login we ask that you use a browser that does not have IBM Security Rapport enabled,
or temporarily disable the extension.
 
How do you know you are impacted?
1. Open up your browser
2. Look in the top right corner for an icon that looks like a square and has an arrow.
This icon may be grey or green.

What is IBM Security Rapport?
IBM Security Rapport is designed to help protect your financial data on the web by
providing a more secure and protected browsing experience.
 
How do you disable the extension?
There are 2 ways to disable the extension. By default when you launch your browser in
incognito all extensions are disabled. You can launch a private window by following the
steps here. Please note, only your private window will have the extensions disabled and
once you close the window if you reopen chrome normally then it will reenable your
extension.
 
If you want to permanently disable the extension you can follow the steps here. Please note that IBM Security Rapport is designed to help protect your financial data on the web. By disabling this extension you will forgo the extra protection that this plugin offers.
Please consider this carefully before disabling.

A recent update from Chrome and IBM has corrected this issue.  Make sure to update the app to the newest version to get the corrected experience.
