Unpaid Invoices

I have unpaid invoices for a customer that went out of business this year.  I thought I could void the unpaid invoices, but when I void an invoice it still shows up in their account as Overdue.  Is there a way to void the invoices and show the status as Void rather than Overdue?

Unpaid Invoices

Hello @Anonymous,

 

It would be my pleasure to help you with the open invoice status in QuickBooks Online.

 

Voiding an open invoice will not automatically show the Voided status on the Transaction List. You'll need to refresh the browser first to see the changes made to the transaction.

 

We can also open the invoice to determine if the payment status is showing as VOID. I'm adding a screenshot below for a visual guide on how it looks:
