It would be my pleasure to help you with the open invoice status in QuickBooks Online.
Voiding an open invoice will not automatically show the Voided status on the Transaction List. You'll need to refresh the browser first to see the changes made to the transaction.
We can also open the invoice to determine if the payment status is showing as VOID. I'm adding a screenshot below for a visual guide on how it looks:
