Good day, mattgcm.
There are ways on how you can install QuickBooks on your new laptop without using a disk drive. I'll share the details and steps below.
The first way is to directly download QuickBooks from an internet connection. Please make sure to have your product and license number ready.
Here's how:
- Go to this link: QuickBooks Downloads,
- Under Do you want to use QuickBooks Desktop on multiple computers (multi-user mode)?, select the desired option and click Next.
- In the I've bought QuickBooks. What next? section, choose the Country, Product, and Version of QuickBooks Desktop from the drop-down menus.
- Hit Search.
- Click the Download button.
I've got this article for more details: Download QuickBooks Desktop.
The other way is to use a USB drive. You can copy and paste the installation files on a USB drive and install QuickBooks on your new laptop. You can find the instructions here: Move or reinstall QuickBooks Desktop to another computer.
I'm always around if you need more help with the process. Just leave a reply below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
