Join nowWhen we setup our Square account we linked it to a bank account as required and Square deposited and then withdrew $0.01 from the account to verify it. There were no other transactions in this bank account that month and we want to know if it's necessary to enter the two small verification transactions. If we should, then how best to show the deposit and withdrawals? They are not tied to our Square account they came directly from Square Inc. Doe we need to create a Vendor or Other Name and deposit from them then write a check to them and if so, what account? Thanks!

It's nice to see you here in the Community, @mac2it.
Since it's a bank verification you can ignore it. However, if you decide to record you can use the bank as other name.

I didn't think they were updating the Little Square site anymore. I had checked a few times over the years and it was all just very old stuff that I viewed many times already. Are they updating it again?
Thanks for coming back to the Community, mac2it.
We always keep the QuickBooks for Mac Little Square website updated.
There are articles from the older versions that are still useful for the newer ones. You'll still see them in the website, however, there are also write-ups for the latest features.
The QuickBooks for Mac 2019 User's Guide also provides more detailed steps about the functionality of the program.
I'd also recommend visiting this site to get more insights in QuickBooks for Mac: QB Mac Self-help.
Let me know if you have other questions. I'll jump right back in to assist if you need anything else. Best regards.
Thanks for the feedback. A few years ago we were told they were no longer going to continue with it, as a result there was a lag for a white in updates. I'm glad that it's not being shelved after all.
At one point Intuit considered not making desktop versions of QB for MAC any more so maybe that's why. I'm glad the desktop version and the website are not being discontinued. Now, if only the software didn't keep corrupting our company file we could stop loosing our days work and actually use the software!
