We couldn't find a QuickBooks Time account associated with the user ID or email. Error when trying to access QuickBooks time.

"We couldn't find a QuickBooks Time account associated with the user ID or email."

This is the error I receive when trying to access QuickBooks time. Several support sessions have not been able to resolve. It is an issue with my email address and tsheets prior to QuickBooks acquisition.

Hello there, joey25.

 

Let me help get rid of the error message and make sure  you're able to access your QuickBooks Time account.

 

You can update your Intuit account by going to this website accounts.intuit.com. From there, you can keep your account information up to dates such as your User ID, email, and password. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to accounts.intuit.com.
  2. Enter your Email or User ID. and select Sign in.
  3. Click on Text or Email a code.
  4. Enter in the verification code and hit Continue.
  5. Select Sign-in & Security.
  6. Choose the box that says Password.
  7. Enter in the New Password.

Thanks for the response Charies. 

 

That did not fix the error message. I do not have any issues signing in to QuickBooks online. When I access the time menu it says my account is connected to QuickBooks Time. However when I click Launch QuickBooks Time I receive the error.

Since the issue persists after you've confirmed your QuickBooks Online log-in credentials are working fine, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support.
