What is the best way for our Canadian company, billing in CAD to bill our growing new customer base in the UK with GBP? Same services, same Canadian Inc.

Thanks for coming to the Community for your concern. In Quickbooks, we use the Multicurrency features to bill customers and pay vendors with foreign currencies. 

I can help set up and use the Multicurrency feature so you can bill your customer in the UK. First off, you'll have to turn on the Multicurrency feature in the Settings menu. Here's how: 

1. Select Account and Settings, then go to the Advanced tab. 
2. Select the Pencil icon in the Currency section.
3. Choose your Home Currency. Please note that your Home currency will be set and cannot be changed. You can choose CAD as your home currency since you're a Canadian company. 
4. Select the Multicurrency checkbox and confirm that you understand that you can't undo this option.
5. Click Save and close.

Then, enter your new customer’s data. Here's how: 

1. Go to the Sales menu and pick Customers to select the New customer option.
2. Choose the Payment and billing tab to enter the preferred payment method.
3. Click the drop-down for This customer pays me with and then pick GBP.

Once done, you can now invoice your customer with the GBP currency. See this article to learn about manually adding an exchange rate to complete the transaction.
