Printing paychecks from QuickBooks is a really simple process. Most late model printers are compatible with pre-printed checks. If you purchased the checks from Deluxe, you can look up the form number and it will give you a list of printer compatibility. Initially you may need to adjust your check alignment. Here are the instructions.
- From + New.
- Select Print Checks.
- At the bottom of the page, choose Print setup.
- Select the type of checks you have: voucher or standard.
- Load blank paper into your printer. You'll print on blank paper first, so that if you need to correct alignment, you won't waste actual checks.
- Select View preview and print sample, then choose the Print icon.
