A browser-related issue might have caused the unexpected behavior, corderstaci.

There are times that the regular browser store cache files that when piled-up it can cause unusual responses within QuickBooks. We can isolate that by performing a few browser troubleshooting steps.

You can start off by logging into a private browser (incognito) and then print the check from there. If you're able to print it without any unusual behavior, you can switch back to the main browser and clear the cache. You can also use other browsers to get rid of these kinds of issues.

Aside from that, it's also possible that you turned on the pre-fill option within your company settings. Once turned on, QuickBooks will automatically enter previously entered content. We can check that by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click Account and Settings.
  2. Under the Advanced option, select Automation.
  3. You can toggle the slider to turn it off.
  4. Click Save and then Done.
