Hey there, @Cobomax Academy.

 

You’ll need to select the account from the drop-down when recording your donation. Let me discuss this further and help you from there.

 

When choosing the account for your donation, you can enter a keyword for the account and select it from the drop-down. This way, you won’t be prompted to add it in your Chart of Accounts.

 

But if you’re still being prompted, we can re-sort your list. This way, we can repair any damage on your lists and get you to record your donation successfully. Here’s how:

  1. Click on Lists from the menu bar.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. From the Account drop-down, choose Re-sort List.
  4. Click on OK to confirm.

Then, you can now record again the donation using the donation account.
