When we send a invoice the activity tracker doesn't indicate the client has viewed the invoice, when we know the client has viewed the invoice.

I'd like to share some information about the Activity section showing the client hasn't viewed the invoice when they already have in QuickBooks Online.

 

When the customer clicks on the Review and pay button, only then the invoice will show as viewed. Make sure you've selected Online invoice from the setting for it to work. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Click the Sales tab.
  3. On the Online Delivery section, select Pdf Attached.
  4. Select Online invoice from the Additional email options for invoices drop-down.
  5. Hit Save, then Done.
