You can use the Audit Log in QuickBooks Online to see details about who made an entry and how it was recorded in a customer account.
The Audit Log tracks all changes, including cash entries, along with the user and timestamp. Administrator access is required to view the Audit Log, so if you can’t see it, contact your primary admin.
Here’s how to access the Audit Log:
- Go to Settings and select Audit log.

- Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate User, Date Changed, or Events filter to narrow the results.
- Once done, click Apply.
- You can also View it to check the transaction's history.
