Buy nowHello there, @marcusgoring20. Glad to see you here in the Community. Let me share some insights into managing multiple businesses in QuickBooks.
Intuit has QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) products with different plans and features. You don’t have to purchase a new copy of QuickBooks to manage each company’s finances. There's an option for you to create multiple company files that are entirely separate from each other.
You may want to look into the features and functions that best fit your business needs at this link: https://intuit.me/2yQgUwz.
To know more details on how to start your company in QBDT, you can check out this article: Create a QuickBooks Desktop company file.
That should get you on the right track, marcusgoring20. Let me know in the comment section if there's anything else you need or you have additional questions. I can't wait to have you as a part of the QuickBooks family!
If you are running retail companies, you can pick QB Desktop Pro. Otherwise, you should pick QB Desktop Premier or Enterprise. You can still buy the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 if required.
Grand rising Stephanie,
Thank you very much for your timely response, it is much appreciated. I will follow your advice and select and use a QBDT option for my companies.
Much appreciated.
Grand rising Asia,
Thank you for your feedback. My companies range from agriculture and software to security medical services, which option would you recommend?
I look forward to your insight.
Do you have the same team to manage those company files? How many user do you have?
