We use QB Pro and use inventory for our small consumables. However, for our equipment wholegoods, QB inventory cannot track by serial #. Currently, the serial or lot numbers feature is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop Pro. Instead, you can consider having an inventory management app to integrate with QuickBooks.
Check our QuickBooks App Store and look for an app that integrates with QBDT.
While we continue to develop new features in QuickBooks that can help you save time, I'd recommend you regularly check our QuickBooks Blog for the latest feature available in QBDT.
Also, I encourage checking our Help articles page to learn some tips and tricks in managing your QBDT account. From there, you can read great articles that can guide you through the steps by steps process.
Stay in touch with us if you have other questions. I'm more than happy to help. Take care!
