Wholesale Client Billing and Payments

Hello all. I am wondering how those of you who have wholesale clients record transactions in your books. For instance, if you pay your clients' subscriptions each month for Intuit Online Payroll, how do you record these transactions on your books? I normally record them as an office expense since it is not my actual payroll expense.

Hi, Jrbpt. I log these charges as a sub-account of Dues & Subscriptions (Client Subscriptions). I have a different sub-accounts for payroll, QBO, and app subscriptions.

I record all Quickbooks under office expenses and bill my clients under the Professional fees for my services and QBO under its own line as sales
