Bank feeds are designed to import transactions directly from your financial institution into QuickBooks Online (QBO), which simplifies reconciliation and tracking. This feature makes managing your finances more efficient by automatically pulling in your transactions.
However, if you're noticing missing transactions, you can manually import them into QBO. This will ensure all your financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
If your credit card account is already connected and some transactions aren’t downloading or stop updating, it’s often related to synchronization issues between your bank and QuickBooks. This can happen due to temporary bank server outages, connection disruptions, or pending updates requiring attention on your banking portal.
To refresh your bank feed, here's how:
- Navigate to All apps, then Accounting.
- Select Bank transactions, and click Update in the upper right column.
