I appreciate you reaching out. I know it would be convenient to update the price of a saved item, especially when costs change over time.
In QuickBooks Self-Employed, saved items on invoices cannot be edited once created. This is how the system is currently designed.
As a workaround, you can create a new item that reflects the updated price. To help keep your records organized, consider giving them a slight name change. For instance, if your original item is named Food, you could rename it to Food1.0. This way, you can easily differentiate between the two on future invoices.
