Hello Edward. When you're moving data from QuickBooks Self-Employed to TurboTax, there are a few things you need to take care of first before the export can wrap up.
Here's what you need to look at in QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Self-Employed:
- In QuickBooks Self-Employed, make sure you are not logged in to any other QuickBooks product to avoid blocking of data. If you started from TurboTax directly, sign out, then sign back in to QuickBooks Self- Employed.
- Complete the tax checklist in QuickBooks Self- Employed.
- Follow the questionnaire in TurboTax Self-Employed.
- Check for messages in the Schedule C section of TurboTax Self-Employed.
