Why can I not switch back to old experience with the gear icon?

One reason that prevents you from changing your old experience is due to a browser issue or an accumulated cache, 941 filings.

 

Since you don't have an option, we can clear the browser's cache (but not the cookies) to start fresh. Additionally, we can use another supported and up-to-date browser already installed on your device to narrow down the cause.
