Hello there, Clearpropoolsllc.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Let me help clarify your concern regarding the voided sales receipt.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), transactions such as sales receipts cannot be voided automatically by the system. Voiding a transaction typically requires manual action by a user with access to your account, as QuickBooks is designed to ensure you have full control over your financial data.
To verify this, we suggest checking your Audit Log in QBO to see who or what action caused the void. This log tracks all changes and can clarify why the sales receipt was voided and who approved it.
Here’s how:
- Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner of QuickBooks.
- Under the Tools section, select Audit Log.
- Use the filters for User and Date Changed to narrow down the results.
- Find the transaction and look at the Event details to see who voided it and when.
- Click View under the History column for more details.
If you confirm that no other user made changes to this transaction, we recommend contacting our Phone Support Team. They have the tools to securely check your account and identify the possible reason as to why the sales receipt was voided and approved automatically.
If you have any other questions or concerns, our Community team is always here to help you.
