Is everyone getting charged 1% fee for ACH payments through QB merchant? When I signed up it said it was supposed to be free. Also other people I talked to using this service are not being charged. I have been charged for everyone.

To check the charged you're getting, we'll have to access your Merchant account and review it. The Community is a public forum which is why I'm unable to request sensitive information to look at your subscription. With that being said, I recommend reaching out to our Merchant Service Team.

You may have 2 options to utilize it:
1. Cancel your unpaid invoice and release the new invoice thru MP
2. Ask your client to open a MP account (even if they are not using QBO) and pay their bill (i.e your invoice) thru MP.
Hope it helps.
I too am extremely annoyed by this new one percent ACH fee. I chose to use the intuit platform intentionally to avoid this. I hear many of my colleagues enjoying all that square has to offer. I stuck with my current platform as to avoid any fees.
Lord knows I pay QuickBooks enough as it is. I guess we will need to look into some of the other collection options such as square, clover, Venmo, etc.
Just got notice today from QB that they are now charging 1% for ACH transfers. This has always been free. QB is really starting to annoy me. They are clearly taking advantage of small businesses. I guess our subscriptions (that just went up) and credit card fees are not enough. Time to look at other solutions on the market. This is ridiculous.

You have to create a separate Melio account to accept payment for your invoices and integrate it with your QBO account. Your client can pay your invoices with credit credit cards and you will get paid by bank transfers or checks for free.
One frustrating part of this new fee is that they hide is as though it is somehow beneficial! You get your ACH payments in one day now! Oh, and by the way, ACH is now going to cost you 1%. It is sickening how much QB takes advantage of its customers...

Just signed up for QBO and Payroll. I was unpleasantly surprised to see the 1%/$10 ACH fee I was unaware of. I can’t give the company anymore money. I guess subscription isn’t enough for them. I’ll check out Melio. Will cancel Quickbooks first available chance I get if another company comes out with a better and fairer option. Based on this forum, this is a great opportunity for another company to swoop in.
