App recomendation

I have been told it is possible to import donations through third-party merchant provider.  After checking with the merchant providers, it seems that there should be an app to help make this happen. One merchant provider integrates with Quickbooks Online but we have Quickbooks Desktop Premier.  
Does anyone have any recommendations on apps to help import these donations?

QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) allows integration with a number of third-party apps and software. While we can't recommend an app, you can go to the App Center and search for any app that can import donations. Here's how:


  1. Go to the Help menu, then select App Center:Find More Business Solution.
  2. In the Apps for QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace window, enter a keyword. (Example: Import donations)
  3. Select the app of your choice.


If you have further questions about the app you selected, I recommend contacting their customer service team.

If you don't want to use an app, you can manually record to record the sales receipts as cash memo .There are different ways on how you can record the donations. 


Here are the steps:

  1. Go to Nonprofit > Enter Donations (Sales Receipts).
  2. Enter the donation details, then select Print Later icon. This way, you can print the sales receipt all at once.
  3. Click Save & Close.


Then, follow the same process for the other donors. Once done, you can follow these steps to print the receipt:


  1. Click File > Print Forms > Sales Receipt.
  2. In the Select Receipts to Print, put a check mark on the receipts you've entered and click OK.
  3. Select Print in the Print Sales Receipts window.
