Applying for a QuickBooks Cash Checking Account

For those of us that already have an active Quickbooks Payments account, how do we apply for the new QuickBooks Cash checking account? When I click the link under "I’m already a QuickBooks customer", it takes me to a splash screen that has a green checkmark with the message:

You're good to go
We already got your information. Charge on!

Any suggestions?

Applying for a QuickBooks Cash Checking Account

Hello, urbancowboy1994.

Thanks for replying back to us. I'm here to clarify about the Cash account availability for existing Payments users.

For existing Payments users, the QuickBooks Cash account and its features will be available to you soon. For now, the Cash account is currently being offered to new users when they sign up for a Payments account.

Frequently asked questions about the Cash account can be found in this article: Learn more about QuickBooks Cash accounts and the Cash Flow menu.

In the meantime, I'd suggest checking for our email newsletters regarding the Cash account. When your application is approved (when it becomes available for all users) and you've received the QuickBooks Debit card, you can follow the steps from Angelyn_T to activate it.

While waiting for the update, I'd recommend reading our articles if you need help managing your Payments account. Their contents have guides on how to process e-invoicing, managing your payment deposits, and other details about the feature.

Browse an article here. More topics can be found at the bottom of the page.

We appreciate your patience as we're working to make the Cash account available to everyone. If you have concerns with your QuickBooks product or your Payments account, please let me know. Happy to offer help again.

Thank you for the screenshot added, @urbancowboy1994.

I'm here to share with you some information about QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Cash account.

After an approved sign up for Payments account, you'll get a QuickBooks Cash account and a debit card. It's a monthly fee-free checking account within QuickBooks where all of your customer payments get deposited. Based on the attachment you've added, you're good to go and approved for the cash account. Meaning, you'll get your QuickBooks Debit Card in the mail within 3-5 business days.

When you get it in the mail, you have to activate the card. Once active, you're now ready to use it.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Cash Flow menu.
  2. In the Debit Card info section, select Activate card.
  3. Create a PIN. This is the PIN you'll use to make withdrawals. Then select Next.
  4. Enter the card number, expiration date, and CVV.
  5. When you're done, select Confirm.

You can also open this link for the thorough instructions: Use the QuickBooks Debit Card to get your cash.

To get all the details about the QuickBooks Cash account, you can also read the topics from these articles:

You can as well check out this link in case you need related resources while working with payments in the future: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online.

I'm always here to help if you have any other questions about  QuickBooks Cash Account. I'm always here to help. Have a good day!

Thank you for the reply, but unfortunately that didn't answer my question at all.

We've had an active Quickbooks Payments account for over a year now, and this Quickbooks Cash checking account offering is brand new. This workflow to apply for, and obtain this checking account, is not relevant to those of us that already have an active Quickbooks Payments account.
