Can't Sort Undeposited Funds in Premier Professional Services 2020

Does anyone know why I'm unable to sort the undeposited funds screen in this edition of Quickbooks? In other editions you can always sort by amount, payment type, etc.

Can't Sort Undeposited Funds in Premier Professional Services 2020

You're able to sort your Undeposited funds transactions using QuickBooks Desktop Premier Professional Services 2020, @lullah.

I'm here to ensure you can clasify your Undeposited funds transactions. This way, you'll get to easily identify the ones that you want to deposit.

When you deposit payments, you'll be able to view the Sort payments by section where QuickBooks lets you categorized them by Payment Method, No., Name, and Amount.

Let's first check if the same thing happens in a sample company file for us to verify if the issue is a data problem.

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. On the No Company Open window, select the Open a sample file drop-down arrow.
  3. Select Sample service-based business option.
  4. Click Open.

After that, go to the Banking menu and select Make Deposits. From there, you'll be able to view the Sort payments by section to sort your payments.

Once verified, you can go back to your company file and fix your data. Lets use the Verify and Rebuild Data Utility tool to identify fatal errors using QuickBooks.

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Select Utilities.
  3. Choose Verify Data.
  4. If it indicates a data damage in the file, continue to rebuild your data.
  5. Go to the File menu.
  6. Select Utilities.
  7. Choose Rebuild Data.
  8. Click OK once you receive a warning message to back up your company file.
  9. Select OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed".

If the issue persists, you can use the QuickBooks File Doctor to resolve the issue. For the detailed steps, kindly visit this article: QuickBooks File Doctor - Fix your Damaged Company File or Network.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
