I'd certainly want to help you with your payment transactions, @pelvicore.
To ensure I'm on the same page, are you using QuickBooks Desktop for Mac when downloading your mobile payment transactions? If so, you can download mobile payments as soon as the sale has been processed. However, before you can do that, you have to connect first your payment account to your company file. Let me refer you to this link on how: Connect your Payment Account to QuickBooks Desktop.
For other details, you can check out the following related links below.
Keep me updated with the results. I'm here to help you further if you still can't download your payments in QuickBooks.
Thanks, @Anonymous, however I’ve done everything you’ve suggested. The payment account is connected within my QB for Mac and I’ve tried repeatedly for days now to Download transactions in the Intuit Payment Solutions window as you described...and NADA. I thought the transactions should show immediately as you said, but a rep from QB said they may take until the end of day (?not sure if she meant they needed to batch), but that was last week and still nothing is showing.
Any other ideas?
Thanks, @Anonymous , but I've done everything you've suggested. The payment account is linked and connected within my QB for Mac 2019 and I have tried MANY times for days now to go into the Intuit Payment Solutions Downloaded Transactions window of (by clinking Customers>Credit Card Activities>Downloaded Transactions and then clicking "Download" in the window that pops up. NOTHING is coming in.
The rep from QB Merchant Services whom I spoke with last week said transactions may not show up right away (not sure if she meant they needed to batch), which is different than what you said...not at all unusual to hear conflicting info. Regardless, I've been trying for days (since late last week) and batch is already complete and the money is already in my bank account, so clearly QB isn't pulling in the transactions.
Any other ideas?
Thanks, @Anonymous . I've done everything you've said and NADA! Payment account is connected to my QB for mac 2019 and I've gone into the Intuit Payment Solutions Downloaded Transactions window (see attached) by clicking on Customers>Credit Card Activitied>Downloaded Transactions and then clicking "Download" once the aformentioned window pops up.
I asked a Merchant Services rep over the phone last week about it and she said it could take sometime for the transactions to come through contrary to what you said (but that is not unusual to get less than accurate info from the reps), but it's been several days, the transactions were already batched and my bank account was funded, so clearly the transactions aren't being downloaded by my QB.
Any other ideas? Thanks!!
Hello there, pelvicore.
The Merchant Services for QuickBooks for Mac 2019 is unavailable. That's the reason why you can't download and view transactions from your GoPayment account.
As a workaround, you can download these transactions from the Banking page manually. From your GoPayment account, get the WebConnect file (.QBO or .CSV). Then, follow these steps:
You can also use this article as guide about setting up and using banking (Mac).
I'll surely send feedback to our developers so they can include this feature in the 2019 version of QuickBooks for Mac.
I'm always here in case you have other questions.
