I WAS JUST TOLD BY TWO REPS THAT IF OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT I WOULD GET A CARD READER BUT SINCE I AM A ''VALUABLE CURRENT CLIENT '' I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SAME READER THAT WOULD BE FREE . WELL FOLKS THIS IS AN INSULT !!!!!!!!!!
IF I HAVE TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT IT WILL BE WITH ANOTHER PROCESSOR SINCE THEY COULD ALSO NOT TELL ME HOW TO EXCEPT INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CARDS WITH LETTERS AS ZIP CODES WHICH I HAD TO LEARN ON MY OWN BUT I NOW KNOW AND IT WAS SOOOO SIMPLE!
I'd do a little research and find out if there is another Processor you would consider going to.
Once/if you find one, call back and ask to talk to the Retention Dept. Don't know if they have one (prob. not), so if not try for a supervisor. Tell them you've got the new Processor lined up and if they're still not willing to give you the reader you'll be leaving. And if they still say no, I'd end with something like... You have all my information, if your boss wants to talk to me about staying, they have until I complete the setup with [Name], my new Processor. Bye.
