Let me help share the steps in installing the scanner drivers.
Here's how:
Once you have installed the drivers for your check scanner you may now start scanning checks by going to the Customers drop-down from the top of the screen and selecting Check Processing Activities and clicking on the Scan Checks option. Choose Scan Checks and follow the prompts to start scanning your paper checks.

Help I just spent 3 hours with level 2 support trying to get my Panini Visiom x to work. My Case # is 967751. They fianaly told me the couldnt help any further? Tried to get with panini and they told us they only sell the scanners I need to get software/drivers from the instituion that you are using it with. I bought panini because it was recomended in this article and it appears in your commercial? Im ready to ship the scanner back. I followed the insruction to the letter installing it? Please help

You can choose any scanners as long as it is TWAIN compliant.
TWAIN is a standard software protocol and Applications Programming Interface (API) that lets your scanner communicate with an application.
Most scanners have a TWAIN driver that you can install from the CD that came with your Panini Vision X.
