Connecting credit/debit cards and ACH payment options to invoices on QB desktop.

I can get the credit/debit card option on the invoice but I cannot get ACH.  I have already went to Edit, Preferences, payments under Company Preferences and have selected under Online Payments, Your customers can pay you online using:  Credit Card and Bank Transfer (ACH) are marked but only the credit/debit card options is the only link connected to the invoice.  We want to provide our customers both options on an invoice.  How can I get that to happen?  We have Desktop 2017.

There are two possible scenarios you can consider before you can set up the QuickBooks Online Payments in your QuickBooks Desktop. I'll be happy to share them and help you from there.

 

First off, if you haven't yet, creating an account for your online payment processing in QuickBooks allows you to easily link and used the ACH payments for your customer's invoices.

 

Thus said, you can click and open this link so you can create and sign up for your first QuickBooks Online Payments accounts.

 

From there, you start sending an invoice to your customer, making sure to select the ACH Payments for your customer's payment processing.

 

However, if you have already created an account for QuickBooks Online Payments, you'll have to ensure that you've already linked both of your accounts.

 

This way, you start creating and utilizing the ACH Payments for your customer's invoice payments.
