Credit Card Payment declined

Could you please let me know what result code 5008 means?  A few transactions are declined listed this error and  they also receive the following notice - Error, you can try again or come back later and try connecting then. Please let me know how to resolve this. Thank you.

Thank you for posting here in the Community. It would be my pleasure to assist you with the result code you're getting when processing payments.

 

You will encounter the Result Code 5008 if there's a need to review the credit card number and the transaction information as well. If the problem persists after verifying the info, I recommend contacting your customer and let them reach out to their credit card issuer to fix the problem.
