Credit Card payment deposited - but no customer name noted?
I have noticed that credit card payments are being deposited (via quickbooks) that don't have a customer/credit card holder name noted on the payment. This just started happening. So, printed receipts don't show who paid the invoice..
Why and how does that happen?
update: i had to search by payments in quickbooks. I found the amount that was posted by quickbooks - the transaction id on the receipt I printed from the invoice payment matches the transaction id on the receipt I printed from the credit card payment transaction (from quickbooks credit card payment transaction journal on the merchant side) BUT the credit card numbers are not the same ??
