When QuickBooks for Mac 2019 was released, there were a lot of updates. The system's performance has been upgraded, some features were added, and some were removed. One of the unavailable features is the ability to accept credit card payments, or the Pay Now link in the invoices.
We've been sending requests to our Product Developers Team about it. Rest assured that we are evaluating on getting it back in our future release. In the meantime, you may want to directly create invoice from your QuickBooks Payments account.
If you've got more questions about QuickBooks Payment, please post them here. We are happy to help.
Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community, @Kaizen1.
I understand how the ability to accept credit card payments or the Pay Now link in the invoice would be helpful to your business. In the meantime, you can follow the workaround provided by my colleague, which is to directly create an invoice from your QuickBooks Payments account.
Finding new ways to adapt to our customers’ needs is how QuickBooks gets even better. I'll make sure to take note of this and will inform you once we receive product enhancement update about the availability of this feature.
For future reference, you may want to check the Help Article page to learn more about the "How Do I" steps in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. When I try to login to quickbooks payment(something I have never been able to fully setup). It can not confirm my account. Also I don't think your college has provided a work around. Please provide that.
I appreciate you taking the time to reach us back, Kaizen1.
At this time, since accepting credit card payments is currently unavailable, you may consider manually creating invoice directly form your QuickBooks Payments account.
Together with my colleagues, I'll be sure to share this insight to our product developers so they may consider this option on our future updates.
On the other note, since you're not sure if you've successfully setup your QuickBooks Payments account, this article will help you achieve it: Apply for a QuickBooks Payments account.
You can always get back to me if you have other questions and I'll do my best to help you out.
