Direct Deposit

I have a client whose payroll I process through my Accountants subscription.  The last two payrolls I have tried to process using his banking information that was setup, have given me an error that the direct deposit limits exceed what has been set up.  How can we change this to a higher limit?  His payroll was only $6,000.00 in total.  I can't seem to reach anyone on the telephone and I cannot find any link to direct me to the department to assist me with this issue.  He has an upcoming payroll and I want to get this resolved before that date.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.

Additionally, you can submit an online request to increase your direct deposit limit. Additional documentation such as a bank statement may be required. You can upload it to the request form. Requests are reviewed 1-2 business days from the time they're created.

For future reference, you can bookmark this write-up in your browser: Fix direct deposit issues. It contains solutions to handle some common direct deposit concerns.

Feel free to visit the Community again if you have other payroll concerns or questions about direct deposit. I’ll be around to assist further. Have a good one.
