@pchantiles Good morning and thank you for joining our community.
You asked a great question, QuickBooks is designed to work with UPC-E, UPC-A, EAN, or similar identifiers up to 18 digits. There is a chance QuickBooks may read GS1-128 barcodes, but it is not a supported format.
Here's an article of compatible and supported hardware for POS as a reference.
We bought Zebra TC51 scanners as instructed on the QB warehouse manager app. The scanners needed to be set up to scan 14 digit bar codes (14 digit bar codes are the standard for outer case of products) and they scan perfectly. However, the Warehouse Manager App doesnt recognize the bar code type. We called Intuit and they claim that they do not support those types of bar codes. I read on one of your replies to another question that the Manager App recognizes up to 18 digits, so I am confused. Per the Intuit website EAN codes are supported (13 digits) and per your reply codes up to 18 digits are supported, so are you able to help by confirming how we get the App to recognize the 14 digit codes? Hope this question makes sense!
