The button in the email for invoices used to say "Review or pay", but now it changed to "Print or save". When I go to the Custom Form Styles and preview the email template, the button still reads "Review or pay", but when I go to send an invoice to a client, the button reads "Print or save".
What button text does the client see?
Does the button still lead to online payments?
Or is this an error within QB Online?
Would love to know what the customer can see in the email and if there is still a way for them to access online payments. Thanks!

Thanks for the prompt response, @kaceelaine.
Since this is still happening even after trying out the steps I've provided, I suggest giving our Customer Care Team a call for further assistance. They have tools like screen-sharing that can help double check why the invoices showing the Print or save instead of the Review or pay button.
Here's how to reach them:
1. Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
2. Select a topic twice.
3. Scroll down and click the green Get Phone Number button to get their contact information.
Please let me know how it goes after contacting them. If you have any follow-up questions, leave a comment below. I'm always here to help. Wishing you the best!
Hi there, kaceelaine.
Let's check your payment method and get the "Review or pay" button back.
The "Review or pay" button appears when you choose any of the online methods on the Send email screen. Please refer to the screenshot below.

Hi @Mark_R
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, even with one or both payment options selected the button says "Print or save". See my screenshot. It must be a bug in the system?
Hello there, @kaceelaine.
Thanks for letting us know the outcome of @Mark_R's steps. Allow me to join the conversation and help get the Review or pay now button back on your invoices.
There's a possibility that your local internet cache files might be the reason why it’s showing as Print or save. Let’s perform some basic troubleshooting to fix the problem.
Sometimes the cache stores up in your system and causes issues in your web pages like errors inside your QuickBooks. You can use a private window to check if it’s caused by a common browser problem that needs clearing.
Here’s how:
• Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
• Command + Shift + N (Safari)
• Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
• Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
If it works, you’ll need to clear your browser’s cache to fix the unexpected behavior in the product. Before doing so, make sure to take note of your saved passwords and URLs. Once done, here's a helpful article with the steps on how to perform clear cache: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1771559.
Give this a try and let me know how it goes by leaving a comment below. I’m always here to help. Thanks for dropping by, I’ll keep an eye out for your response.
Hi @KhimG,
I've tried an Incognito window, as well as cleared my cache (I'm a techy myself) with no luck. Still says "Print or save" on my end, even with the payment options selected. It looks like someone else in this thread has had the same issue. I'm not thinking it's a cache problem at this point.
However, I appreciate the responses and attempts to resolve. As long as the customer sees "Review or pay", I don't have to fix it on my end. I'm sure it'll work itself out at some point. :)
Thanks for the prompt response, @kaceelaine.

Same issue here.
Actually, my clients see "Print or save" as do I when i send myself an invoice.
My clients can't pay my invoices.
Greetings, @expecthuge.
Good to see you in the Community. Let's go over your account, and ensure your customers have the option to pay online.
To make sure I'm on the same page, may I ask if you activated Multi-currency in your account? If so, you'll see in the invoice email the Print or save button. QuickBooks Online currently doesn't support multi-currency for credit card payments.
If you don't use this feature, let me share some ways to make sure the Review or pay button appears in the customer's invoice email. First, let's check the online delivery method setup in your QuickBooks account.
Here's how:
Then, email the invoice again and select any of the Online payment options (Cards or Bank transfer). If you get the same result, I recommend reaching out to our Merchant Support to assist you further. They have the tools to determine what's causing this and get you back to business quickly.
Let me know how things go once you've tried the steps above. I'll be happy to help you further. Have a wonderful day.
Multi currency is off.
Online Delivery is on.
Customer still gets "Print or save"
Even though preview says "Review or pay"
I'll reach out to them.
Thanks
SOLVED:
There is another setting on the invoice itself. Make sure CC or bank is selected.
QBO puts settings in multiple locations. For example, you need to enable CC's in the form settings. But that's global. Even though you have it enabled there, you can still have it disabled "locally" on the invoice itself. So before you send your next invoice make sure it's enabled globally and locally.
Hi there, @expecthuge.
I appreciate you for sharing an additional step to make sure the Review or pay option is available when sending an invoice in Quickbooks Online. This is a simple yet effective solution and will definitely help other users.
