Expenses

Good morning. How do I enter expenses for the same vendor on different dates? What I’m seeing now is that when I enter an expenses on one day then enter another one for the same vendor but on a different date it shows as “split” with no indication of the first transaction’s date...date only shows the most recent date for all previous expenses entered. Thank you

Expenses

Hello, Sandpiper15. I can help share some information regarding expense transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If it's for one Expense transaction, you may consider adding the exact dates in the Description column for every additional line for the vendor.

But, the best way to enter an expense transaction for the same vendor with different dates is to create a new one and choose the exact dates instead.
