It's great that you're on the latest release which is the R21.
We have an investigation regarding this error when syncing GoPayment to the QuickBooks POS. Our product team is now fixing this issue.
If this is what you're experiencing too, I suggest reaching out to our Customer Support Team. It's best to add your company info to the investigation so you'll receive updates.

You'll want to restart your computer and relaunch the QB POS. If you receive the error message again, click OK and close other windows. Then, log in again to your QuickBooks Payments account.
Also, it's best to seek some help from our Customer Support Team since you're already on the latest release and still getting this error.
