How can I check to see if a mobile payment user is listed as active or inactive to be able to receive a payment in GoPayment

Hello there, @reynoldselectric_ac,

 

Let's log in to the QuickBooks Payments portal via web and view the status from there. This way, you'll be able to determine which user can actively use mobile payments to process transactions.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Merchant Service Center portal.
  2. Go to Registered GoPayment Users, then click Refresh.
  3. You'll then see the list of users and their current status.

These are the list of user status possibilities and their meaning:

  • Active - This user can process mobile transactions.
  • Ready - This user has not yet signed into the Mobile Payments app.
  • Disabled - This user is temporarily disabled and can' use the app. Here's how to enable a user.
  • Locked - This user has tried to sign in with the wrong credentials 5 times and the app has locked the user account. You can reset the user's password to unlock the account.

You can also set the Mobile Payments app to notify you whenever once of the reps processes a payment on their mobile phone. Let me show you how:

  1. Click the Notification Settings link on the dialog box.

  2. Select On to activate the notifications.

  3. Enter the destination email address.
  4. Click Save.
