Re: Invoice

That feature is not available except you can add it to the body of the text.

Re: Invoice

Hey Paul2020,

Thanks for joining us here in the Community. I'd like to offer my assistance with adding your mailing address to your invoices.

As lynda stated above, yes you can add the address to the body of the text within the invoice.

Alternately, the mailing address could be included by using it as the "Customer-facing Address." If you're using QuickBooks Online, you can edit this address by:

1. Clicking the gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Select Account and Settings.

3. In the Address section of the Company tab, click the small pencil on the right to edit.

4. Change the Customer-facing address to your mailing address.

5. Choose Save and then Done.

If you need to include multiple addresses on your invoices, I recommend leaving feedback for our product development team to review. This can be done by clicking the gear icon and then select Feedback. This is the best way to ensure meaningful updates are added to the software in the future.

Thanks for being part of the QuickBooks family. I wish you the best and please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Paul (@Paul2020),

Welcome to the QB Community! What kind of work are you doing? Out of curiosity, how many invoices are you sending per month?

DATE ON MILEAGE

The date is not appearing on my car trips.  also there is a deduction being made to some entries and I cannot work out why this is happening

Re: DATE ON MILEAGE

Hi there, @Kaleb-Sandra,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I’ll help you go through some steps to get the trips to show the dates and mileage deductions.

The trips that are tracked using the automatic mileage tracker sync with the web version of QBSE. Let’s first sign into the web to see if the dates are also missing.

This helps us isolate where the issue is coming from. Please click this link and enter the same login credentials:  https://selfemployed.intuit.com/home#/app/mileagelog.

If the dates are showing on the web, but on the app, we’ll need to make sure the QBSE mobile application is updated to its latest release. Here’s how to install the updates if you’re using an Android device:

1.    Open Google Play Store.
2.    Select the Menu icon in the upper left.
3.    Choose My apps & games.
4.    Select Installed.
5.    Swipe down to find QuickBooks Self-Employed (typically listed as Self-Employed in the S section).
6.    If it says Update to the right, click Update. If it says Open, it means your app is up to date.

For iOS devices:

1.    Open the Apps Store.
2.    Choose Updates.
3.    Locate QBSE and tap Update.

If the app is already updated, we have to reset the app data to improve the performance and free its memory from temp files and history.
Here's how to do this on an iOS device:

1.    Tap Settings.
2.    Scroll down to General.
3.    Select Storage and iCloud Usage.
4.    Tap Manage Storage.
5.    Tap the QBSE app.
6.    If the Documents and Data option shows more than 500 MB, you'll need to uninstall the app by clicking Delete App. Then, go back to the Apps Store to re-install it.
7.    Otherwise, select Clear App's Cache.

Here are the steps for Android devices:

1.    Go to your phone settings.
2.    Select Apps.
3.    Locate the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, then click Clear Data and Cache.
4.    Restart your phone.

Now try signing back in to see if the issue is resolved. For additional information on how to troubleshoot mileage tracking issues, you can refer to this article: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1605651.

QBSE automatically deduct miles once the trips that are categorized as business. Since there is a deduction on some of the entries, you can go to the Miles tab. Then, tap the trips, one at a time, and swipe right to track them as personal.

Here’s an article about how much mileage you can deduct and what types of trips qualify as work-related: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1592026.

Let me know if the issue about the missing dates is happening on both the web and mobile versions, so I can check if there are any related reports. I’ll be here if there’s anything else you need while working in the company. Have a great day.
