How do I set up a merchant account? I want to set up ACH payments, but all the articles talk about linking merchant accounts and don't refer to how to set it up

You can apply for an Intuit merchant account through QuickBooks Online. If approved, you'll have the ability to process ACH and card payments.

1. Sign in as an admin.
2. Click your Gear (⚙) icon, then Account and settings.
3. Hit Payments.
4. Select Learn More in the QuickBooks Payments section.
5. Begin applying by entering the appropriate information.
 

After submitting your application, you'll receive email notifications about its status. If any documents are needed to move forward with our review, Intuit will contact you through these electronic communications.
